Aviation American Gin is the flagship gin of the US and is crafted in small batches in Portland, Oregon. It starts with an 18-hour maceration of the carefully selected botanicals in pure, neutral grain spirit before the distillation process begins. The recipe was created by the first distiller-bartender partnership on record and designed to be softer, smoother, and less juniper heavy than a London Dry, with juniper in the back and citrus and floral notes in the front for a balanced medley of botanicals taking flavour to new heights. Aviation Gin brand, now co-owned by the actor Ryan Reynolds, became a metaphor for taste and adventure, and, as a gin created for bartenders by a bartender, it is a favorite of the mixology world.
